A thrilling journey into the heart of Viking-age Iceland is set to come to life with the upcoming film, “The Daughters of Ice and Fire.” Currently in development, this epic film blends Norse mythology with human resilience, crafting a tale of prophecy, courage, and sacrifice. Co-producers Aisling Goodwin (Paranoisia Productions, Dublin) and Klara Landrat (Legendary Film Productions, NYC ) are the creators and writers, with Aisling Goodwin to portray the main character-Bodíl and Klara Landrat the the co-starring role of Sigridur.
Set in a world shaped by fire and ice, the story follows two mortal women, Sigridur and Bodil, as they confront their destiny to face Hella, the goddess of chaos. With the guidance of Hvitrifur, a fallen guardian with ties to the gods, the duo must uncover ancient truths and wield a divine weapon to protect their world from destruction.
